Tonic Music are delighted to announce the continued partnership with PPL providing a new series of online workshops, plus a new six week group, for 2026.

Building on the initial partnership in 2024-2025, during which PPL supported a series of seven online skills workshops teaching mental health skills tailored to people working in music, this new programme of 10 skills workshops and a six week Healthy Thinking Series will begin on 17th February with an Emotional Resilience workshop.
As before, the skills workshops will be FREE to attend for all UK-based working musicians and music industry professionals, with 20 places available in each workshop.
Who are PPL?
PPL licenses the use of recorded music on radio, TV, and in public spaces across the UK, distributing royalties to over 140,000 performers and recording rights holders.
PPL Giving is the organisation’s purpose-driven strategy to give back to music, with a focus on building a sustainable industry for future generations. It funds initiatives that support positive change across the music ecosystem, including music education, talent development, later-career support, and artist welfare.
"It is great to be partnering once again with PPL to provide essential workshops for anyone working in music, equipping skills to prevent the onset of poor mental health.
Opportunities to learn these skills are not always freely accessible within the music industry, therefore, it is important we address such issues on the Tonic Music programme.
A big thank you goes to PPL for supporting Tonic Music to provide the workshops across the next 12 months, free to all music artists, crew and industry professionals.”
