New Peer Support Group for independent festivals

Tonic Music are providing a new online Peer Support Group for independent festival organisers and staff, in partnership with the Association of Independent Festivals (AIF) and Music Minds Matter.

Starting Thursday 27th February, Tonic Music in partnership with the Association of Independent Festivals (AIF) and Music Minds Matter, will be providing an online six-week Peer Support Group exclusively for festival organisers and staff working at independent festivals.

The Peer Support Group aims to support independent festivals,  by offering an open space for staff to share their experiences. Dr Adam Ficek will be facilitating the group.

“We are proud to be launching our first free Peer Support Group in partnership with Tonic Music and Music Minds Matter. The work they do is invaluable for anyone in our industry wanting to find healthier, sustainable wellbeing practices, supported by people in the industry who understand the pressures.

We hope this partnership will be an on-going valuable offer for our members. In the vibrant intensity of the festival world, it's crucial to remember that taking care of your mental health is just as important as creating the experience itself.

As festival organisers, we all want to give it our all. But without looking after our own well-being, we risk burning out. By prioritising our mental health, we ensure we can continue to bring our best, inspire others, and keep the magic alive, year after year.”

Start Date: Thursday 27th February 2025 (Six-week Group)

Time: 1:00 - 2:30pm (Online)
