Tonic Music will be providing a masterclass as part of this year’s 2ube Xtra festival at LIPA.
For the first time, Tonic Music will be providing a masterclass on ‘Maintaining good mental health in the music industry’ as part of 2ube Xtra at the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts (LIPA).
2ube Xtra is a 15-day celebration of new music featuring showcase performances by LIPA Music students. With 60 local, national and international acts playing material from a variety of genres, 2ube Xtra is a key event in Liverpool’s musical calendar for anyone who wants to see the latest emerging artists.
The masterclass will equip LIPA students with the knowledge and skills to maintain good mental health in the music industry, by identifying some of the unique stressors that are encountered through working in music - suitable for all LIPA students who work in music, live events and/or musical theatre.
