Tonic Music are providing a new online Peer Support Group for those working in live music in any capacity who are Deaf, Disabled and/or Neurodivergent.
Starting Monday 14th April, Tonic Music in partnership with Attitude is Everything and Music Minds Matter, will be providing an online six-week Peer Support Group exclusively for those working in live music who are Deaf, Disabled and/or Neurodivergent.
The Peer Support Group aims to support participants, by offering an open space to share their experiences in a group facilitated by Dr Adam Ficek.
“Attitude is Everything is grateful to partner with Tonic Music and Music Minds Matter to provide a Peer Support Group for disabled and neurodivergent professionals and performers in live music. Across our networks, we hear the day-to-day impacts of discrimination on the wellbeing of disabled folk in live events and music. We hope by supporting spaces centred around care and dignity, this will ensure folks do not have to sacrifice their rest, rather re-centre their wellbeing.”
