Tonic Rider / Bectu Partnership

Tonic Rider are partnering with Bectu for a panel discussion on the issue of poor mental health in the live events sector and what we can all do about it.

We are delighted to be presenting a ‘Mental Health in [Live] Events Panel and Q&A’, in partnership with the Broadcasting, Entertainment, Communications and Theatre Union (Bectu).

The event will be an insightful discussion on mental health in the live events industry. Our expert panel will dive into the challenges faced by professionals in this fast-paced industry, explore strategies for maintaining well-being and talk about how workers can improve this issue in the sector.

Friday 1st March / 11:00am-1:00pm

EartH Kitchen, Stoke Newington Road, London, UK

13 Stoke Newington Road London N16 8BH

This event is aimed at live events for non-performance workers, however, performers are also most welcome to attend. There will be a soft drinks reception after the Q&A.

The panel will feature Jeordie Shenton (Tonic Rider), Emily Collin (Bectu) and more to be confirmed.

Please come along and support your union and Tonic Rider to make the industry more supportive of mental health needs.

This event is being hosted by EartH and Bectu as a response to the unexpected death of a colleague and we will be raising funds for Tonic Rider.

To reserve a FREE place for the event, please visit the eventbrite page.
