Tonic Music @ Southampton Night Time Economy Conference

Tonic Music attended the Southampton Night Time Economy Conference – delving into ways the night time economy can promote good mental health.

New Peer Support Group with Attitude is Everything

Tonic Music had a great afternoon attending the Southampton Night Time Economy Conference hosted by Go! Southampton on Monday 19th January.

Taking place at the O2 Guildhall, the free afternoon event gave insightful information on current and upcoming issues affecting the night time economy and hospitality sectors.

Tonic Music’s Programmes Lead, Jeordie Shenton, provided a workshop exploring ways that pubs, clubs and music venues can promote good mental health for customers, artists / crew and staff.

As well as this, the Tonic Team provided an exhibition stand offering attendees the chance to learn more about our services and to take some mental health resources (plus Tonic Music stickers and pin badges).

“It was great for Tonic Music to participate at the Southampton Night Time Economy Conference, as there is a significant overlap between the music and night time industries.

Events such as these are vital for local communities, and even more so when there is space for discussions around mental health. A big thank you goes to Go! Southampton and O2 Guildhall for being great hosts, and we hope to attend the conference again next year.”
