Tonic Music are thrilled to announce that we will be attending the Leicester Music Conference on the 27 February at 2Funky Music Complex and The Venue @DMU.

Whether you are an industry professional, aspiring musician or an enthusiastic music fan, this two day event is a fantastic opportunity for networking, panels and discussions, and live performances.
We will be providing a morning talk on Mental Health and The Music Industry along with other industry experts, as well as an exhibition stand where Team Tonic can provide information on our services, plus a range of handy zines and leaflets on mental health support.
Mental Health and The Music Industry
Programmes Lead Jeordie Shenton is one of the panelists discussing Mental Health and The Music Industry at 11am on Friday 27th February at 2Funky Music Café. Other panelists include Claire Cordeux (British Association For Performing Arts Medicine) and Ruth McPherson (The Independent Society of Musicians).
Hosted by Sarah Barton (Leicestershire Music), the panel will explore the challenges faced by musicians, producers and industry professionals - from long hours and financial security to performance pressure and creative burnout. This discussion will suggest strategies and support networks that can help individuals not only survive but thrive, with insights into building resilience, sustaining wellbeing, and fostering a healthier music culture for all.
This is a great event to attend for everyone involved in the music industry, and Tonic Music looks forward to bringing mental health to the forefront of this event.
