On the weekend on 25/26 May, the Bandstand on Castle Field in Southsea came alive with the sounds of music, laughter, and community spirit as Tonic Music hosted our much-anticipated Live Music Event. It was a weekend filled with great performances, heartwarming moments, and a shared commitment to making a difference.
Our talented line-up of bands delivered spectacular performances that left the audience in awe. Saturday kicked off with a debut performance from Charris & The Chillums, setting a mellow and enchanting tone. As the afternoon progressed, the energy soared with high-octane performances from International Jet Set and Emz All Stars, who had everyone on their feet and dancing.
Opening the event on Sunday was the incredible Van Gosh, followed by Bandstand Veterans Brass Holes Brass Band and to sign the event off, Portsmouth’s very own Offbeat Offensive.
To everyone who attended, performed, volunteered, and donated – thank you. Your support and generosity have made a real difference, and we are deeply grateful. The success of this event is a testament to the strength and compassion of our community. Together, we have shown that music can indeed be a force for good.
